Product Description
ALCOHOL RESISTANT AFFF (AR-AFFF)
Owing to our rich industry experience and knowledge of this domain, we have become an affluent manufacturer, exporter and supplier of Alcohol Resistant Foam For Fire Fighting. Provided alcohol resistant foam is extremely effective on fires that are caused due to polar solvents such as hydrocarbon fuels. Processed by our adept professionals using optimum quality basic chemicals with the help of innovative techniques, this foam is also tested on set qualitative parameters to ensure its effectiveness. To meet the diverse need of our clients, we are offering this Alcohol Resistant Foam For Fire Fighting at cost-effective prices.
FIRECHEMALCOHOL RESISTANT AFFF (AR-AFFF) is an environment friendly foam that is created using a synthetic mixture of surfactants and special polymers. Using this foam, physical polymer-membrane barrier is created between foam blanket and fuel surface. The AR-AFFF is considered effective against hydrocarbon (like gasoline, crude oil, aviation kerosene, diesel, etc.) fires. And, with addition of special polymers, AR-AFFF is also effective against polar solvents. Using this versatile product, one can eliminate the need to keep varied foams. Because of the burn back resistance and post fire security, this product is widely used in highly dangerous situations where hydrocarbons and /or polar solvents are stored, processed or transported.
AR-AFFF is available in three different proportioning types : 1% x 3 % , 3 % x 3 % and 3 % x 6 %.

It meets international standards such as IS 4989, UL Listing, and EN1568 approval, assuring quality, safety, and global conformity.
Reliable Storage and LongevityPackaged in 20L, 200L drums, or 1000L IBC totes, the concentrate remains effective for up to 5 years when stored properly in tightly closed containers, away from direct sunlight. Its high purity and stable liquid form ensure reliable performance in critical fire safety scenarios.
FAQs of Alcohol Resistant Foam Concentrate:
Q: How is Alcohol Resistant Foam Concentrate applied during a fire emergency?
A: The foam concentrate is typically applied using fire fighting equipment that induces it at a 3% or 6% ratio with water, depending on the type of fire. It forms a stable foam blanket, quickly suppressing both hydrocarbon and polar solvent fires when used as directed.
Q: What types of fires is this foam concentrate suitable for?
A: This product is engineered to combat both hydrocarbon and polar solvent (Class B) fires, making it ideal for industrial environments dealing with diverse chemical risks.
Q: When should I use a 3% versus a 6% induction rate for this foam?
A: A 3% induction rate is generally used for hydrocarbon fires, while a 6% induction rate is recommended for polar solvent fires. Always refer to manufacturer guidelines or site procedures for precise application rates based on the hazard type.
Q: Where can I safely store Alcohol Resistant Foam Concentrate?
A: It should be stored in tightly sealed containers, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures, to ensure the product remains effective for at least five years.
Q: What approvals or certifications does this foam concentrate have?
A: The product carries UL Listing and EN1568 approval, and complies with IS 4989 standard, ensuring high safety and performance standards recognized worldwide.
Q: What are the benefits of using this environmentally responsible foam concentrate?
A: With minimized fluorosurfactant content, it offers reduced environmental impact and low toxicity, while delivering reliable fire suppressionsafe for use in areas concerned with environmental protection.
Q: Is this foam concentrate compatible with different water types?
A: Yes, it is completely compatible with both fresh and seawater, allowing flexible use in varied geographical and industrial locations.
